It’s like Christmas all over again! Except I don’t have to worry about shopping or decorating or listening to annoying songs for two months...
So, actually, it’s way better than Christmas.
I’m referring, of course, to the new episodes of television shows that have begun airing post-writers’ strike. On the one hand, the strike wasn’t quite as bad as I had thought; there were sporadic new episodes of shows I like, and my newly-found Netflix addiction helped as well. But I missed my favorites, and I’m extremely excited not to have to wait for the fall season.
I think I’m most excited about the return of “Bones” on April 14, and the return of “House” on April 28. To find out if (and when) your favorites are coming back, look here.
And yes, I know what the Ain’t It Cool story says about a potential Screen Actors Guild strike this summer is depressing. I say ignore that; I am. ‘Cause denial can be a good thing.
